The S5 is Internet connected, via your home wireless network, so you can discover great new music via online music services like last.fm, Spotify and Napster. You can also stream your entire music library from any networked computer to your Sonos S5, or connect it to your iPod or CD player and enjoy high quality playback through the powerful speakers.

When it comes to controlling your S5 and the vast array of music on your computer and the Internet, simply reach for your iPhone™, iPod touch or iPad. With the free Sonos Controller for iPhone app (available on the iTunes App Store), you can search for songs and stations, choose the music and control the volume in as many rooms as you like. Don’t have an Apple device? – You can control the S5 ZonePlayer using the free software for control from your Mac or PC. Or you can get even more control with the dedicated Sonos Controller 200 available separately.

One ZonePlayer or ZoneBridge™ in your system must be connected to your wireless router via an Ethernet cable, and if you purchase additional S5 units they will then all work wirelessly.
