World-leading mobile maker Nokia has announced that it is expanding its music range in 2009, with the release of three new music handsets. The Nokia 5730 XpressMusic, Nokia 5330 XpressMusic and Nokia 5030 follow on from the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, the company's first touch screen device released earlier this year.

The 5730 XpressMusic will offer a full QWERTY keyboard, music features and dedicated gaming keys, with direct access to the N-Gage Arena and preloaded N-Gage games. This handset is expected to ship in Q3 2009 at an estimated €280 price, before taxes and subsidies.

The Nokia 5330 XpressMusic, on the other hand, offers both music and social networking capabilities in a sleekly designed model with extended battery life for more than 26 hours of playback time. This mobile phone is also expected in the third quarter, with an estimated price tag of €160.

Ultimately, the Nokia 5030 XpressRadio is the first Nokia phone with its own internal FM radio antenna, so users can access radio stations without the need for a headset or internal speakers. This lower-end model will be available in the second quarter of 2009 at an estimated retail price of €40 before taxes and subsidies.

Jo Harlow from Nokia's devices division said: "We've sold more than 425 million devices with a digital music player and more than 700 million devices with an FM radio, which clearly shows that the mobile phone is the natural device for listening to music and carrying it with you." A

ll three handsets will be compatible with Nokia's Comes With Music service, through which users can download and own songs for free for a year, in selected markets. Comes with Music is set to hit stores in Australia later this month, while new launches are being planned for Italy, Sweden and Mexico later this year.
